La Chapelle Musique is the musical expression of la Chapelle church in Montreal. Their songs grow out of the seasons their community walks through: every title is an honest attempt to set to melody what they believe, what they live, and what they hope. The words are lived before they are sung.
The collective alternates original compositions with carefully crafted French adaptations of international worship songs (Elevation Worship, among others), with a modern, understated sound. Their acoustic sessions, the albums "Chapitre 1" and "Chapitre 2", have become meditation companions for many French speakers well beyond Quebec.
