La Chapelle Musique is the musical expression of église la Chapelle, in Montreal. Their songs grow out of the seasons their community goes through: each track is an honest attempt to put into melody what they believe, what they live, and what they hope for. Before being sung, the words are first lived out.
The collective moves between original compositions and carefully crafted French adaptations of international songs (Elevation Worship, among others), with a modern, clean sound. Their “acoustic sessions,” the albums “Chapitre 1” and “Chapitre 2,” have become companions for meditation for many French speakers, far beyond Quebec.
