What does the Bible say about commitment?
To commit, in the Bible, is to choose and to hold fast: "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15). Jesus warns that whoever puts a hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:62). Biblical commitment touches every area: faith, service, marriage, church, work.

How do I stay committed when motivation is gone?
Galatians 6:9 encourages us not to grow weary of doing good, for the harvest comes in its season. Biblical commitment does not rest on the emotion of the moment but on a decision renewed daily, nourished by the Word, prayer and community.
What does serving God actually look like?
Colossians 3:23 widens service to everything we do: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." Serving God happens in church, but also through work, family, and the way we treat others.
Do I need to commit to a local church?
