Lord, tonight I feel alone. The silence around me is heavy and no one seems to see me. Father, I come to you just as I am. Remind me that you are here, closer than my own breath. You promised never to leave me or forsake me, and I lean on your word. Fill this room with your presence and lay your peace on my heart. Help me sleep without fear. Thank you for being with me, even when I do not feel it. In Jesus' name, amen.
Hebrews 13:5
Father, I entrust to you my loneliness and the pain it hides. You know what brought me here: the goodbyes, the silences, the friendships I lost. I do not want to stay locked in my own thoughts. You who set the lonely in families, look on me. Heal my heart and drive away the shame of feeling like I am too much. Teach me to find my rest in you, without ceasing to long for the company of others. I place in your hands my past relationships and the ones to come. You are faithful. I trust you. In Jesus' name, amen.
Psalm 68:6-7
Lord, thank you for never leaving me truly alone. You have been with me in every season, and I want to tell you so. Now give me the courage to take a first step. Lead me to caring people, a church, a group, a neighbor, a sincere friendship. Open my eyes to see those who are as lonely as I am, and make me able to be there for them. Free me from the fear of being rejected. Father, I know you are with me every day, and that is enough for me to move forward. In Jesus' name, amen.

Matthew 28:20
I proclaim the promise of Jesus that he is with me always, even to the end of the age. His presence fills every empty space.

I declare that the Lord turns toward me and has mercy on me in my desolate and afflicted moments. He does not overlook me.

I proclaim that Jesus does not leave me as an orphan. He comes to me and makes his home with me.
Yes, the Bible affirms it: God is near to the brokenhearted, and Jesus promises to be with us every day. A feeling of loneliness does not prove his absence. You can ask him to make you feel his presence and lean on his promise.
A very simple prayer is enough: tell God what you feel, thank him for his presence and ask for his peace through the night. You can read a psalm aloud, such as Psalm 139, which reminds us that God surrounds us everywhere.
Prayer opens the heart, but God also created us to live in community. Ask him to lead you to a church or a small group, and dare to take a first step. Serving someone else often helps break isolation too.
