Can we pray to God to find a spouse?
Yes. The Bible says to present all our requests to God, and the desire to build a home is part of that. We pray humbly, without demanding a specific outcome: we ask God for wisdom to discern, patience to wait and a heart ready to love.
Can I pray to attract a specific person or make them love me?
God does not ask us to force another person's will. You can entrust your feelings to him, ask him to guide you and protect your heart, but true love is free. Pray for wisdom and for your own character rather than to manipulate someone.
