Lord, you are my refuge and my fortress. Today I place myself under your protection. Keep my steps on the road, my thoughts at peace and my heart close to you. When danger or fear shows up, remind me that you are with me. Give me the wisdom to avoid what could harm me. Thank you for watching over me, even when I do not realize it. Keep those around me today as well. I trust in you, Father, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Psalm 91:1-2
Father, I entrust to you my family and our home. Keep each one I love, young and old, those who are near me and those who are far away. Protect us from accidents, illness and harmful influences. May peace reign in our home, and may love and forgiveness grow there. I cannot be everywhere, but you see everything. Watch over us day and night. May your presence be our security. We thank you for taking care of us. In Jesus' name, amen.
Psalm 121:7-8
Lord, some people wish me harm, or situations worry me at work and elsewhere. I will not repay evil for evil. I place these people and these circumstances in your hands. Protect me from injustice, keep my reputation and my job according to your will, and give me uprightness in how I act. Teach me to pray for those who hurt me. I know that your protection is not the absence of trials, but your presence in the middle of them. Give me courage to stay upright. You are my shield. Amen.
Psalm 18:2
Father, you have entrusted children to me, and every day I realize how precious they are. I cannot go with them everywhere: to school, to their friends' houses, on the road, in front of their screens. But you are always there. I place them in your hands. Keep their bodies, protect their hearts, enlighten their minds, and put good people on their path. Teach them to know you and to tell good from evil. Give me the wisdom to watch over them without smothering them. May your face shine on them and your peace rest on each one, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Numbers 6:24-26
Lord, I am about to leave, and first I want to place this trip in your hands. You know the road, the unexpected, the people I will meet. Wherever I go, your hand guides me and your right hand holds me fast. Keep those traveling with me, give alertness to the one who drives, and patience to everyone. If difficulties come, help us stay calm and act wisely. Watch over those I leave at home as well. Thank you for walking with us, and I entrust our departure and our return to your goodness. Amen.
Psalm 139:9-10
Father, I entrust my workday to you. You know what I face there: tiredness, pressure, tension, sometimes very real risks. Be my fortress in the place where I spend so many hours. Protect me from accidents and from hurtful words, and keep me from hurting others too. Give me wisdom for hard decisions and integrity when no one is watching. Bless my colleagues, my managers and the people I serve. May your name be honored in the way I work. I take refuge in you, Lord, and I count on your goodness for this day. Amen.

Psalm 91:4
I proclaim that the Lord covers me with his feathers, and under his wings I find refuge. His faithfulness is my shield and buckler.

Psalm 18:2
I declare that the Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. In him I find my refuge, he is the strength of my salvation.
« No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. »
Isaiah 54:17
I proclaim that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. No plan of the enemy will succeed, for the Lord fights for me.
« The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear him, and delivers them. »
Psalm 34:7
I declare that the angel of the Lord encamps around me because I fear the Lord. He delivers me from all danger.
« But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. »
2 Thessalonians 3:3
I proclaim that the Lord is faithful. He strengthens me and guards me from the evil one. I am secure in his hands.
You can pray every day: "Father, I entrust my family to your care, protect them and give them your peace." The Bible encourages us to bring our loved ones to God. Praying together, as a couple or with the children, also strengthens trust and unity in the home.
God promises his presence and his care, but not a life without trials. Faithful believers have known suffering, like Paul or Stephen. God's protection is above all spiritual and eternal: he never abandons us. We pray to be kept safe, while acting with prudence.
The Bible affirms that Jesus has overcome evil. The believer has no need to be afraid: they pray to their Father, in Jesus' name, and put on the armor of God described in Ephesians 6. No magic formula or ritual: only trust in Christ, the Word and prayer.
