Église Protestante Évangélique des Ternes

The Église Protestante Évangélique des Ternes is an evangelical Christian church of Baptist tradition, affiliated with the AEEBLF, located at 8 bis rue des Ternes in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. The church describes itself as "a vibrant community of the Gospel in the 17th arrondissement of Paris," built on the principle that "what matters most is Jesus." It welcomes members and visitors every Sunday for a service in French, with dedicated care for children during the sermon.

Since September 2019, the church has been led by Pastor Marc-Etienne Debaisieux, who previously served as a pastor for six years at a church in southeastern France; he oversees teaching, vision and pastoral care, and chairs the church board. He has been joined since October 2024 by Associate Pastor Timothée Barakat, who leads the neighborhood groups, men's ministry and student ministry. The team also includes an elder, Nicolas B., along with several ministry leaders such as Laura Nelson, Nathalie Debaisieux and Anne-Laure De Vimal.

The Sunday service takes place at 10:45 am, with doors opening at 10:30 am, and includes dedicated care for children aged 4-7 and 8-11. The church runs neighborhood groups every second and fourth week of the month across the 17th arrondissement and the suburbs, youth groups for middle schoolers, high schoolers and students, and a monthly prayer evening. Other regular gatherings include a quarterly women's brunch, a men's meeting held several times a year, an English club and an annual back-to-school weekend retreat.
