Who is Woodlands Church?
Woodlands Church is an evangelical church in Bristol that began in 1983 in Sea Mills, led by Rob and Pam Scott-Cook. Through church planting it has grown into the Woodlands Church Family, which brings together eight congregations across Bristol and the surrounding area. The central site, Woodlands Central, meets on Belgrave Road under the leadership of Rachel Riddall and Nigel Savage, while David Mitchell leads the whole family of churches.
Its vision is “to continually reproduce the life of Jesus” in everyday life and to see Bristol transformed by the love and power of God. The church runs a Bible school, small groups and social action projects, and works in partnership with New Wine. Its messages are published on YouTube. Efficient Church summarizes a selection of them on this page: each article distils a teaching with its key verses and links back to the original video and the church's channel.
