How did Elevation Worship get started?
Elevation Church is founded in February 2006 in Charlotte by Steven Furtick and seven other families from a church in Shelby, North Carolina. As early as 2007, the young church launches its own worship ministry, Elevation Worship, which releases several independent albums before signing with Christian label Essential Records.
Carried by the rapid growth of Elevation Church, which today has about twenty campuses, the collective records its albums in public, during services or special gatherings such as the Code Orange Revival in 2016, where Do It Again was captured.
