6. Romans 10:9
"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

7. Romans 10:10

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

10. Romans 5:1

11. Mark 11:22
"Jesus answered them, "Have faith in God."

12. Matthew 17:20
"He said to them, "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

13. Matthew 21:22
"All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.""

14. Mark 9:23
"Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.""
Answering the desperate father of a sick child, Jesus turns the question around: it is not his own ability at stake, but the faith of the one asking. This verse encourages us to shift doubt toward trust in the power of God. Read Mark 9:23.
15. Matthew 9:22
"But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, "Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour."

Growing in Faith: Trial and Perseverance
16. Luke 17:5
"The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith.""
The apostles themselves, though close to Jesus, feel the need to ask for more faith. This short prayer reminds us that faith is never acquired once and for all: it is asked for, cultivated, and grown. Read Luke 17:5.
17. James 1:6
"But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed."
James warns against an unstable faith, tossed about by circumstances like a wave in the wind. He encourages a firm request, rooted in trust rather than hesitation. Read James 1:6.
18. James 2:17
"Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself."
James does not oppose Paul but completes him: authentic faith necessarily translates into concrete acts of love and obedience. Growing faith is faith that proves itself in daily life. Read James 2:17.
19. 1 Peter 1:7
"that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ, "
Peter writes to believers tested by suffering and compares their faith to a precious metal refined by fire. Trial is therefore not a sign of failure, but the means by which faith is purified and shown to be genuine. Read 1 Peter 1:7.
20. John 20:29
"Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed.""
Facing Thomas's doubt, Jesus pronounces a special blessing on those who will believe without having seen with their own eyes. It is a word of encouragement for every generation of believers who has known Christ only through the Word. Read John 20:29.
Standing Firm to the End: The Faith That Overcomes
21. Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me."
Paul describes a life entirely transformed: to live by faith is to live each day resting on the concrete love of Christ shown at the cross. This personal faith gives new meaning to all of daily existence. Read Galatians 2:20.
22. John 14:1
""Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me."
On the eve of his death, Jesus comforts his troubled disciples with a simple call to faith. This word remains precious for anyone today going through a night of uncertainty or fear. Read John 14:1.
23. 1 John 5:4
"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith."
John identifies faith itself as the believer's victory over the pressures and temptations of the world. It is not a distant, future victory, but a reality already at work in the one who believes. Read 1 John 5:4.
24. Habakkuk 2:4
"Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith."
Written amid national crisis and confusion at God's silence, this verse would later become a cornerstone of New Testament faith theology. It teaches that God's faithfulness is received through trust, even when circumstances remain unclear. Read Habakkuk 2:4.
25. 2 Timothy 4:7
"I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith."
