Lincoln Brewster is an American worship leader, guitarist and songwriter, born in 1971 in Alaska. Lead guitarist for Steve Perry on tour in 1994 and 1995, and worship pastor at Bayside Church in California from 2001, he has released ten albums with Integrity Music, including Today Is the Day, Oxygen and God of the Impossible.
Lincoln Brewster was born in 1971 in Alaska, where he grew up. A precocious musician, he played drums, mandolin and then electric guitar from childhood. Hired as lead guitarist on Steve Perry's project, he toured with him in 1994 and 1995. He released his first album, Lincoln Brewster, in 1999 on Integrity Music, on its Vertical Music label, and became worship pastor at Bayside Church in Granite Bay, California, in 2001.
He followed with Live to Worship (2000) and Amazed (2002), then broke into the Billboard charts with Today Is the Day (2008, number 56 on the Billboard 200), Real Life (2010) and Oxygen (2014, number 51 on the Billboard 200), all in the top 3 of the Christian albums chart. Among his best known songs are Everlasting God, Today Is the Day, There Is Power and Made New. His Christmas album Joy to the World (2012) reached number 6 on the Christian albums chart. His latest album to date, Perfect Love, came out in 2021.

How did Lincoln Brewster get started?
Lincoln Brewster grew up in Alaska, where he played drums from a very young age. At five, his mother introduced him to the mandolin, and by twelve he was already leading a band, Lincoln and the Missing Links. In his late teens, he moved to Modesto, California, and joined his high school's jazz and marching bands.
Called to audition as lead guitarist for Steve Perry's project, he then toured with him from 1994 to early 1995. In 2001, he became worship pastor at Bayside Church in Granite Bay. His first album, Lincoln Brewster, came out in 1999 on Integrity Music.
