I give you my worries one by one, and I ask for your peace which surpasses all understanding. Help me not to define myself by my achievements or by how others see me. Give me strength for this day, patience in my relationships and an available heart. Let me feel that you are with me every hour, in small things and in great ones. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father, I am tired of carrying everything. The worries about my family, my work, my health or my future weigh on my heart. As your Word invites me, I cast all my anxieties on you, because you care for me. I do not always know how, but I choose to trust you. Thank God for the life that is growing and entrust to him the pregnancy, the health of the mother and the child, and the birth. You can ask for his peace in the face of fears. The Bible reminds us that God knows the child before birth (Psalm 139:13-16). We place the outcome in his hands, sure of his love whatever happens.
Tell God as it is, in a few words: "Lord, I can't go on." Jesus invites all who are weary and burdened to come to him and find rest (Matthew 11:28). Also take time to rest and ask your family or church for help. God does not ask you to carry everything alone.
Praying for one another is part of church life. Paul urges us to pray at all times for all the saints (Ephesians 6:18). You can pray for a friend, a sister in the faith or a neighbor, naming her needs before God. It encourages and brings people closer, and you do not need fancy words.
