Who is Église CVV: The Way, the Truth and the Life?
Église CVV Paris (French for "The Way, the Truth and the Life") is an evangelical Protestant church located at 48 rue de Lille, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. It belongs to the ERNC network (Églises du Réseau Nouvelles Connexions) and is a member of the National Council of French Evangelicals (CNEF) and the French Protestant Federation (FPF). The church is also part of Catalist, an apostolic network affiliated with Newfrontiers.
According to its website, CVV Paris describes itself as "a relational, Spirit-filled church for living out God's grace and freedom." Its vision rests on three pillars: living in God's presence, experiencing his grace, and cultivating authentic relationships among its members. These values shape community life, from the Sunday service to weekly life groups, in a spirit of welcome and inclusion, with no dress code.
The service takes place every Sunday at 10am, opening with a friendly breakfast gathering before a roughly 90-minute celebration. Children join dedicated age groups for part of the service. During the week, five life groups meet in Paris's 14th arrondissement, Viry-Châtillon, Suresnes, Villejuif, and Aubervilliers to pray, share a meal, and live out community day to day. The church also offers an Alpha course for exploring the Christian faith.
