The Bible looks death in the face, "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23), but never stops there: "the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus." Since Easter morning, death has lost the game: "death, where is your sting?" (1 Corinthians 15:55).
For the believer, dying is no longer an end but a passage: "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me will still live, even if he dies" (John 11:25). And at the end of the story, "death will be no more" (Revelation 21:4), last enemy, first abolished.
